It’s a contemporary take on Botticelli‘s famous piece „The Birth of Venus“

About the cycle „The Energy of Birth“:
This idea came to me after I created my first (and at the same time the last piece in order of this cycle) „Born from the Sea Foam“.
I finished this ocean piece and then I saw her.. The Venus appeared in all her beauty and mysticism from nowhere.. It was thanks to a different density of each color shade of my paints and something magical..
This magic can happen with this technique. You can predict, but you still get the unpredictable.
I noticed the figure of a naked woman with long hair after I created this piece. It was a very special moment for me. My heart raced because it reminded me the famous painting of Botticelli – „The Birth of Venus“.
She was born and I stood in front of her and wondered how and why this happened. „What should I do next?“
„What is she trying to tell me?“
Well, I let it go for a while..
Then I realized a weird thing… Few months before the Venus appeared in my painting I received a deck of cards. I only picked it up once and pulled a few cards out of it, as it was written in the instructions.
One of these cards was a Venus! That already gave me chills all over. What a strange connection!
Believe it or not, this is a true story of mine.
It was so strong that I needed to go ahead and elaborate on this topic further.
I got the idea to create the phases before the birth of the Venus and I did it very soon. For me it was a very special time to work on this cycle.
„Before“ (1):
The energy rises, the sea is restless, something big is coming.. The sea begins to turn into a swirl.
„It‘s Coming“ (2):
The energy rose to its maximum, the sea formed a strong swirl and in the center of the painting you can see the colors cumulating.. This is a place of the future birth of Venus.
„Born from the Sea Foam“ (3):
The goddess of love was born, rising from the foam of the sea, blooming like a pink rose with touches of golden glitter, like when the sun’s rays penetrate through drops of water.. Beautiful, strong, full of love and desire.

„The Golden Reef“
A painting of a coral reef under the sea. I used fresh green and blue and a bright gold in the contrast of this soothing dark blue color. I connected an energetic intention to promote abundance with this painting. This intention is also enhanced by the gold color.
